A Note from Ms. Sawan |
Hello 4th Graders & Families,
I'm Ms. Sawan and I'm looking forward to being your new teacher! I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself so you can know a bit about me. I live in Watertown, but I grew up living all over the world. I have two brothers, a mom, and a dad and we all live in different countries. Even though we live far apart, we have a very close relationship. We all love to travel, cook (and eat!), learn new languages, and spend time with friends and family. I've been lucky enough to have many interesting jobs, including working on boats, in ambulances, and at a university. While those jobs might seem completely unrelated to each other, they all had one thing in common - teaching! No matter where I worked, training and teaching was always a part of my job. Eventually I realized that I wanted to spend all of my time teaching, so I went back to school and became an elementary teacher. This is my fifth year working in Newton and my third year at Williams Elementary School. I'm very excited to be a part of the Williams family! Thanks for taking the time to learn about me; I'm looking forward to getting to know you better, too. This year will be unlike any other and I can't wait to work with you to fill it with fun, creativity, and lots of totally awesome learning! Warmly, Ms. Sawan |
